Improve employee accessibility with our consultation processes

Hearing loss affects many Ontario workers. Individuals with hearing loss may have difficulty communicating effectively in the workplace which can lead to frustration and anxiety. Everyone’s hearing loss and personal experience is different, and our strategy is to offer consultations for employees with hearing loss and their employers. Our consultation process works to improve the communication between employee and employer and offer recommendations based on the individual’s needs. The goal is to have an open dialogue between employee and employer about the communication needs, to promote an inclusive and progressive workplace.
